Run Details

The Campbell Creek runs will be organized in true "fat ass" fashion and characterized by the phrase "No Fees,  No Awards, No (minimal) Aid, No Wimps".
There is no fee for participating in the run and we will not refer to each other as participants or racers, but simply as "friends".  The course will be minimally marked and each "friend" is responsible for being familiar with the course (please refer to course maps).
We will attempt to have several spots along the way offering aid.  Along with water, we would love to provide a collection of traditional Alaskan snacks such as hot Tang, SPAM chunks or smoked salmon, pilot bread, s'mores, Eskimo ice cream, and the like.
Seriously though, we will transport drop bags for any interested runners to 3 spots on the course - approximately miles 10 (North Bivouac), 18(Hillside STA trailhead), and 25(University Lake).  50 mile runners will enjoy another station at Campbell Tract trailhead, out and back.
Please feel free to contact Greg Veltkamp at campbellcreek50s@yahoo.com with questions or for more information.

A JBER rec pass is required if you'd like to run the section through JBER property.  This is simple and quick.  Find the link here.
